Star Wars fans think a legendary director is in Mandalorian & Grogu. “It’s totally him!”

Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu finally dropped a trailer, and fans are shocked by one of the voice actors.
After years of being a film discourse topic, it looks like Martin Scorsese might be joining the Star Wars universe. The first full trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu sees Pedro Pascal’s Mando looking for information about The Hutts. He approaches an alien vendor who seems keen to help him after a bribe. But, when The Mandalorian mentions Jabba, the little primate alien shuts those doors so fast your head might spin.
Scorsese immediately began trending on Twitter. It’s hard to argue with a lot of commenters who say the iconic director is the man behind that voice. Kane Brough immediately called his shot. He typed, “It has his eyebrows. It’s totally him LOL.” It would be amazing if that was the case. Considering that Scorsese has voiced a character in Shark Tale. Who could forget that memorable cameo in The Studio last year too. If anyone could get the man responsible for about 55% of the hot takes about visual effects to come be a part of this project, it would be Jon Favreau.
Shyamaniac basically said what we’ve all been thinking. “Double checked to see if this wasn’t a parody account.” If this is indeed Scorsese in this Star Wars movie, that would be hysterical to watch unfold. Multiple fans are eagerly awaiting the first time one of the filmmakers get lobbed this question during the press run. Some of the rest of us can’t quite stop replaying the trailer because a new Star Wars movie is finally here!
Martin Scorsese is the talk of Twitter after Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu’s trailer
While Marty may have been the talk of the morning on social media, it is good to finally have a trailer for Star Wars The Mandalorian & Grogu. The number one piece of commentary coming out of that Super Bowl spot for this movie was a distinct lack of clarity surrounding the film. Yes, the first new Star Wars on the big screen since Rise of Skywalker was always going to be a big deal. But, we knew basically nothing about it. Today’s trailer drop really managed to change that. It’s more than just seeing the Mandalorian and everybody’s favorite Tiny creature together again. The story feels more real now, if that makes sense.
According to one of the movies biggest stars, we haven’t seen anything yet either. Recently, Pedro Pascal talked to Screen Rant about Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu. Everybody wanted to know just a simple few more crumbs about this film. He wasn’t going to give us much. But, he did argue on Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu’s behalf as an adventure movie. All of the posters and promotional material so far have gestured towards a kind of classical Lucasfilm adventure. A lot of folks noted the similarities to another Lucasfilm favorite in Indiana Jones. All of that is to say, if you listen to Pedro, we’re in for one wild ride.
“I know everything that there is to know, and I’m not gonna tell you any of it because I want you to experience it,” Pascal told them. “I want everyone to experience the incredible surprises that are in store in one of the greatest adventure movies that has ever been made. I mean that.”
