After appearing multiple times in the Epstein Files, Elon Musk is now boldly calling for ‘prosecutions’

No one, I repeat no one, can predict Elon Musk’s next move, at this point, maybe not even him. Because what do you mean, you are asking for people to be prosecuted following the release of the latest batch of Epstein Files, where your name is featured multiple times? Yes, you heard that right. Musk features in the controversial documents, but based on how things look right now, it seems as if he is in complete denial about it.

On Friday, the United States Department of Justice posted approximately 3 million pages of information related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, including 180,000 images and 2,000 videos. While several big names came forward, including a few that people were already familiar with, one name that came up was a surprise to many, as that individual at one point had gone above and beyond to claim that United States President Donald Trump was featured in the Epstein Files and demanded an investigation into it. I am talking of Elon Musk, who, after briefly having a very public fallout with Trump, claimed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) back in June 2025 that the Department of Justice was not releasing the Epstein Files because Trump was in it. According to an article by Al Jazeera published on June 6, 2025, Musk, addressing the event, had written on X:

@realDonaldTrump (Donald Trump) is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.”

Based on the details revealed by the DOJ on Friday, Elon Musk’s previous claims of being invited to Epstein’s Island and not accepting it stand to be untrue, because multiple email correspondences between him and Epstein show that he repeatedly sought out Epstein and asked whether he could be part of his lavish parties to “let loose” or visit his island. The emails do not, however, in any way suggest that Musk ended up attending any such parties, but they at least suggest that he was curious and eager to visit.

Soon after this information came out, Musk got busy on X, sharing a message on the platform highlighting that he was one of the few individuals who “pushed” to have the Epstein Files released and that he was “glad” that it had finally happened. Additionally, he reiterated that he had very “little correspondence” with Epstein and “declined repeated invitations to go to his island or fly on his “Lolita Express” but that he was “well aware that some email correspondence with him could be misinterpreted and used by detractors” to smear his name. He also said that he didn’t “care” about being misunderstood, but that at least there was an “attempt to prosecute those who committed serious crimes with Epstein, especially regarding heinous exploitation of underage girls.” In a separate post, Musk, while sharing an individual’s post that demanded prosecutions in the Jeffrey Epstein case, wrote:

There need to be prosecutions.”
