Things We Saw Today: We’ve Reached the Peak of Culinary Engineering With the Frork™

Does stuff always fall out of your burgers when you eat them? It’s the worst, and it feels like you’re not getting your full money’s worth. Cue the infomercial voice: There has to be a better way. McDonald’s has teamed up with Anthony Sullivan to fix the problem of “topping droppings” (ew) with the Frork, a fork made of french fries. “Is this a real problem? Probably not, but we solved it anyway!”

The Frork is more of a joke to carry the actual promotion, “Signature Crafted Recipes” sandwiches which include pico de gallo, maple bacon dijon, and sweet barbecue bacon. They understand it’s a completely superfluous tool, but I’m still laughing at the puns. I think I need a Frork™. (via Paste Magazine)
