You may or may not remember that today, October 3rd, is the day that Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) asked Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) what day it was, marking their first memorable conversation in class. Hence, today is Mean Girls Day. And so, DogVacay, a dogsitting finder service, decided to ring in Mean Girls Day their own way.
They brought together some super adorable pups to recreate scenes from the quintessential classic, dressing them up in costumes and transposing some of the most memorable quotes from the movie onto the resulting photos. Looking through all of them and seeing each of the puppers in their own costumes brings a real joyful tear to my eye.

The entire collection is worth checking out over on Entertainment Weekly. Each of the dogs just looks so happy to be there and so happy about Mean Girls day. What bugs me, though, is the fact that they didn’t make one single “fetch” joke. I guess they tried and puppy Regina George got angry and told them to stop trying to make fetch happen. It’s never going to happen. Or whatever the dog equivalent of those words are.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure it’s illegal for anyone to write a post about Mean Girls Day without posting this GIF, so here you go.
