We’ve been hearing about this film since the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. Now, check out the first official trailer for Nate Parker’s The Birth of a Nation, which is set to the beautiful, inspiring sound of Andra Day’s “Rise Up.” It looks pretty amazing. The film will be released by Fox Searchlight on October 7th. (via The Hollywood Reporter)
