Tom Holland, Our New Spider-Man, Shows Us He Does Everything a Spider Can

Recommended Videos

If I remember right, the story goes that Tobey Maguire landed the role of Spider-Man (in part) because he was covertly ripped. That’s all well and good, but Spider-Man’s got more than just strength up his sleeves, and Tom Holland’s acrobatic skills might be part of a similar story for the reboot.

Even before news broke that he had officially landed the part of the wall-crawler, Holland enjoyed taunting casting speculators on Instagram with seemingly Spidey-related gymnastics. Now that we know he’s got the role, it’s even more exciting to see him do everything a spider can and wonder what kind of real live stunts we’ll get to see in the new Spider-Man movies.

“BUT DAN, spiders don’t actually do backflips!” you say?

Don’t let this one hear you, I guess.
