During a Marvel event in LA last night, Feige discussed fan influence on Captain Marvel casting and Marvel’s plans for the Spider-Verse following the upcoming Spider-Man movie. Feige explained,
There could be [spin-offs]. But the truth is, our job right now is that single Spider-Man movie based in the MCU. And that’s where all our focus is.
When asked by reporters if they had seen that awesome fan-made Spider-Gwen trailer yet, MTV reports that both Feige and Avengers executive producer Jeremy Latcham simultaneously admitted they hadn’t, but that it sounded “cool.” Feige went on to add, “I think Spider-Gwen in the comics is cool.”
It’s not much to go on, friends, but I’ll take my Spider-Gwen news where and when I can get it. If a Spider-Gwen movie did wind up being in our future, who would you like to see in the titular role?
