The “Women Who Kick Ass” panel at Comic-Con featured a bunch of our favorite ass-kickers, including Gwendoline Christie, Kathy Bates, Gal Gadot, Hayley Atwell, and Jenna Coleman. As one would expect from a panel so appropriately named, the panel spoke a lot about the stunt fights they’ve done, their inspirations, and even a bit of fandom shipping.

Gadot spoke about stepping into Wonder Woman’s boots, and her portrayal of the heroine. She said that her portrayal will be a more contemporary version, the “Wonder Woman of today.” Speaking of stepping into some badass boots, Christie spoke about her hardest fight sequence: Brienne’s duel with the Hound. She also talked about how Rory McCann (the Hound) asked her to actually punch him in the family jewels.

Damn. That’s commitment.

Atwell probably stirred up the fandom crowd when she said she’s super happy that people have latched on to the idea of a relationship between Peggy and Angie. She did say she “doesn’t understand shipping,” though, but we’re still pretty sure she has some idea of what it is. Come on, now.

Definitely check out the full panel recap at Hero Complex, because reading about these awesome women is the next best thing to seeing all of them in the same room together seriouslywhycouldn’tIbetheresiiiiigh.
