After releasing some seriously impressive concept art earlier this year, Chappie director Neill Blomkamp just announced on Twitter and Instagram that his next film will officially be an addition to the Alien franchise. If this is true, we will be beyond pumped. (And if Sigourney Weaver actually joins the project, we might have to die of happiness.)
[Updated: Variety has confirmed that Fox and Blomkamp have closed a deal for him to direct the film.]
