What do Jonathan Coulton, John Hodgman, Wil Wheaton, Paul and Storm, Bill Corbett & Kevin Murphy from Rifftrax, Molly Lewis, and Mike Phirman have in common? Two things. First of all, they are the best and brightest in the ever-important worlds of geek music and comedy. Second of all, and I hardly even believe this myself, they are all entertaining on the same Caribbean cruise, taking place from Jan. 2 to Jan. 8, 2011. The cruise, called JoCo Cruise Crazy and organized by Johnathan Coulton, promises to be the best vacation anyone will have ever gone on in any of their lives.
Set sail aboard Holland America’s ms Eurodam and cruise the Caribbean, stopping in luxurious locations including Half Moon Cay and the Cayman Islands. Spend six days living in slowly-rocking luxury, sitting by the pool, catching some rays, eating gourmet meals, and gambling away all your money that you didn’t spend on cruise fare. Cruise and entertainment fare, that is! Yes, they make you pay more specifically to go to the entertainment, but holy sweet mother of geekdom is it worth it. Not only might you seem the deluge of geek celebrities in performances, but according to the cruise’s site:
You may see them in the hot tub. You may see them sipping fruity drinks on the Lido Deck. You will certainly see them entertain you with songs and funny words. Also you will be on a cruise, did I mention that? Seriously, look at the boat, it’s crazy.
