    Schools in Wyoming are the first to reject the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) that include lessons on, among other things, climate change. Why? Lawmakers say it's because teaching climate change would turn kids against Wyoming's coal and oil industry (which are causing climate change.) They're probably right.

The kidney was just one of several illicit organs traced to a gang arrested in the Hebei province, and it's come out that he allegedly sold it to the gang to settle a debt he owed from video games.

    We're coming up on the close of 2012, if probably not the world as we know it, and thus, it's a time for quiet reflection and self-inventory. As we consider the paths that led us all here, we find ourselves looking back on the year that was, and in doing so, we find ourselves saying one thing, over and over, quietly to ourselves, as is repeating a mantra -- "Man, people did some stupid things this year!"
