For the third consecutive year, NASA’s Girls and Boys program is looking to connect middle schoolers with NASA employees for a 5-week online summer program. The class is open to students grades 5 through 8, but unfortunately you must be a U.S. citizen to attend.

According to Geek Mom, each week of the course will focus on a different pillar of STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, and Math) and examine real-life applications for each topic. Students will each be assigned a NASA mentor that they will interact with via Google Hangout or Skype.

The deadline to apply is this Monday, June 28th; space is limited and filled randomly by lottery from the applicant pool.
