We’ve Got New DC Super Hero Girls Episodes!

And they're super adorable.

There’s a lot to be excited about with all the news coming out of New York Comic-Con, but now we officially have full episodes for DC Super Hero Girls! The announcement that the show was coming happened earlier this year, and while we got a trailer only about a week ago, these episodes went up on YouTube in the aftermath of DC and Mattel’s presentation at NYCC.

They’re short and sweet, but they give you an idea of exactly what you can expect—a world full of cute. The first episode reveals a teenage version of Wonder Woman as she’s shown around her new high school—Super Hero High, to be exact, and by a confirmed Principal Amanda Waller(!). In the second episode, Diana has to come to terms with an interesting new roommate… named Harley Quinn.

Granted, there’s a lot that this series washes over in terms of these characters—which is gritty and complicated, especially given the history some of them have with one another. But when you consider the age range that this DC/Mattel collaboration is trying to appeal to, it’s completely more appropriate to provide relatable storylines and relationships that mirror the ones in the lives of these younger fans.

Besides, that theme song? Awesome.
