We asked contributing writer Amanda LaPergola to review the third season of Game of Thrones when it was set to wrap up on June 9th. As a writer, Amanda is…special, and her concept of deadlines is…flexible. So, it took us by surprise when Amanda’s review came in not just on time, but before the last episode had even aired.

As per usual, we received a note from Amanda’s mom (“Dear Miss Sue: Please excuse, well, to be quite honest, I’m not sure what’s going on. I found these on the floor next to my daughter, who has been there for about four days.”) and the following.

It turns out that Amanda had decided not to review the entire season but instead just one particular episode.

The Red Wedding claims another victim.

Amanda LaPergola maintains a scrappy little blog called “LaPergs: A Life” and tweets @LaPergs. She needs all the hugs.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
