It’s been a rough few days in the Pacific Northwest, as these salmon attempting to cross the flooded Skokomish Valley Road in Washington state. High wind and heavy rains apparently washed the fish out of their home in a nearby river, and they seem pretty determined to get back there. It’s common knowledge that salmon will swim upstream and past incredible obstacles to mate, but it’s good to see that they’re applying that same determination toward their self preservation as well.
- This octopus could show these salmon a thing or two about overland travel
- BTW: Your fish hate you
- These coelacanth are gettin’ some and they didn’t need to swim upstream or anything
