Watch Young Batman Shill for Ms. Pac-Man Cereal in This Very Pink, Very ’80s Commercial

what is this I don't even

Recommended Videos

According to Geek Tyrant, this commercial for Pac-Man cereal was filmed in 1983, before Christian Bale starred in Empire of the Sun and became something of a renowned child actor. Of course, with the quality of the film, we only have their word for it that Bale is even the kid in this… but if there is ever a spot on the pop culture venn diagram that belongs on The Mary Sue, it’s the intersection between the Batman, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and pink marketing circles.

Editor’s Note: preliminary researched could not tell me whether it’s Ms. Pac-Man or Mrs. Pac-Man. Anyone with this information at hand please deliver it in the comments.
