The 2023 film The Line, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, stars Lewis Pullman as Todd, the head of a fraternity who allows his brothers to live in the world of toxic masculinity. It’s a fascinating look at Greek life, what men will willingly do to get in the good graces of their “brothers” and it really just made me want to never interact with a frat bro in my life.

Directed Ethan Berger, who co-wrote the film with Alex Russek and Zack Purd, The Line brings a completely different vibe to Pullman as an actor. Much like his work in The Starling Girl, it shows just how talented Pullman is. And The Line is a thrilling watch. The film is described as follows: “A university student lives life without fear of consequences.”

Imagine how terrifying that is! A young man who does not think he has any consequences? The worst kind of power. The film also stars Alex Wolff, Austin Abrams, and is one of the last performance from Euphoria star Angus Cloud, who tragically passed away before the film was released to a wider audience.

Now that the movie is streaming on Hulu, more fans of these actors can engage with Berger’s film and talk about it. I saw this movie back during Tribeca, where I spoke with Pullman and the cast for it, and it has been a long journey for The Line. It’s a fascinating watch and a movie that I think demands your attention before you engage with it.

So, to continue your education on Pullman, head over to Hulu and watch one of the best movies out of Tribeca.
