Pokémon Officially Introduces Volcanion, the First Fire and Water-Type

Recommended Videos

The Pokémon Company announced their new Mythical Pokemon Volcanio yesterday, but it wasn’t huge surprise, since fans had known about it two years ago from rustling through the X & Y code. Here’s its official description:

Unlike any other Pokémon, Volcanion is both Fire- and Water- type. This Pokémon uses fire and water to create steam within its body, expelling explosive shock waves and scalding steam from the arms on its back. Volcanion’s power is said to be so great it can destroy an entire mountain, gouging out the earth and changing the shape of the land!

You can see Volcanio use water and fire attacks in the video on another new-ish Mythical Pokemon, Hoopa, who is a Psychic/Ghost type (revealed officially back in February). I think it kind of looks like a blocky mountain with a teething ring attached (we need a Pokeymans of this), but what do you think about Volcanio?
