New Twin Peaks Footage Is Finally Here and Suitably Haunting

If I were Showtime I probably wouldn’t have chosen this particular week to present some new Twin Peaks footage, but David Lynch does what David Lynch wants, Star Wars be damned.

Our new look at the Twin Peaks revival (previous teasers for the new season featured footage from the original series), shows actor Michael Hoarse (Deputy Hawk) talking about the inherent eeriness of Twin Peaks‘ setting. And then it features something…up to interpretation.

The critically-acclaimed, ground breaking television phenomenon TWIN PEAKS returns as a limited series to SHOWTIME in 2017. Currently in production, TWIN PEAKS is written and produced by series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost and is directed entirely by David Lynch. While the full mystery awaits, fans can expect many familiar faces, including Golden Globe® winner and Emmy® Award nominee Kyle MacLachlan, who reprises his role as FBI Agent Dale Cooper.
