Happy dance!! Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are working together again! And they’re playing sisters.

Director of Pitch Perfect, Jason Moore, will be helming the new film called The Nest.

“Poehler is in final negotiations to star in the project, which Universal has been developing in recent months,” according to Variety, “The script is based on an original idea by Paula Pell, who wrote her debut screenplay about two 30-something sisters who come home to find their parents’ house has been put up for sale and then spend a last wild weekend together.”

I like this idea.

Pell has history writing for Saturday Night Live as well as Fey’s 30 Rock and has even guest-starred a few times. She also helped with the scripts for Bridesmaids and This is 40. This will mark the third time Fey and Poehler have starred together on the big screen, first in 2004′s Mean Girls and then in 2008′s Baby Mama.

What do you think of the plot?
