If you haven’t read Sandman you might not understand why it is appropriate to feature Hanie Mohd‘s Death on Neil Gaiman‘s birthday. Then again, if you haven’t read Sandman you might not even realize this is Death, but trust us. It’s fine. Happy Birthday, Mr. Gaiman, and thanks from this writer for being one of my biggest literary heroes.

  • It’s also Sesame Street‘s birthday, and they’re searching for a lost actor. More than forty years ago, when they were filming their test pilot, they had an actor fill in the role that would eventually be Gordon. Now, despite their best efforts, Sesame Workshop has some footage and photos, but can’t find any record of his name. They’re asking the internet for help, and naturally, Reddit is on the case.
