Things We Saw Today: Gal Gadot, as Wonder Woman, Makes out With Kate McKinnon on SNL

This is a situation many of us have dreamed about, and now it exists in sketch form.

In a nod to the Amazons’ all-female lifestyle—hey, it was the cinematic Wonder Woman that first had Diana say, “men are essential for procreation but when it comes to pleasure, unnecessary”—Saturday Night Live‘s “Themyscira” sketch imagines two modern lesbians landing on the paradisical island, uncertain if they’re faced with feast or famine.

Although we would love it if Diana’s canonical bisexuality were to make it to the big screen, at least this sketch is a thing that is now part of our world.

  • Here is some nice news:

  • Elijah Wood would like to star in a Y the Last Man TV adaptation and I would like Elijah Wood to star in a Y the Last Man TV adaptation. (via CBR)
  • However, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is coming back in a few days so all other TV shows can go home. (via Twitter)

That’s it from us, what’d you see today?
