Lucy Kinsley has completed abridged versions of five of Harry Potter books, up through The Order of the Pheonix. Seem them all at BuzzFeed.

CBSNews.com asked me to write this post — “15 Crazy Things About Vaginas” — for their website on the launch day of my book[, What’s Up Down There? Questions You’d Only Ask Your Gynecologist If She Was Your Best Friend.] They had posted “15 Crazy Things About Sperm” and it was wildly popular. So they figured they’d play nice in the sandbox and give us girls our time in the limelight.

And then, after it had been up on their website for about an hour, some suit in corporate made them pull it.

“Too saucy…”

Anyway, I never did get around to posting what I wrote for them. So here you go.

Read 15 Crazy Things About Vaginas here. (We saw it at Reddit.)

In other news, the voice for the new Aflac duck has been chosen.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
