  • Renowned comic artist John Severin passed away Sunday at the age of 90. He was well known for his Western comics work as well as working on the Punisher and B.P.R.D. more recently.  (via The Beat)

  • Cool geek science news of the day: Israeli scientists are attempting to create a VISOR very much like the one worn by Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: The Next Generation. (via Blastr)
  • Marvel is creating an all-ages comic book line to coincide with their new Marvel animation on Disney XD. Expect to see The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Adventures and Ultimate Spider-Man Adventures titles in April. (via Newsarama)
