— Barry Deutsch (@barrydeutsch) September 19, 2016
Real-life superhero Jessie Graff (who we’re all kind of in love with here) had the best red-carpet pose at the Emmy Awards last night. Not only does it show off her athletic ability, look at how great that red dress looks in motion! Also, check out this slow-mo clip of her doing a flip.
- If you weren’t already excited for Master of None returning to Netflix (congrats on the Emmy!), Angela Bassett is joining the cast as a cool mom with “a lot to learn.” 2017 needs to get here, stat. (via TV Guide)
- The Invitation‘s Karyn Kusama will direct an adaptation of the Chase Novak novel Breed for her next project, which will no doubt be creepy as heck. (via Birth.Movies.Death.)
- Chinese emoticon and “irrepressible rabbit” Tuzki, who’s been around since 2006, is getting an animated feature! (via Cartoon Brew)
- Jess Morrissette, a professor of Political Science at Marshall University, has launched a project that catalogues every soda machine in video games and it’s really fun to scroll through. (via Boing Boing)
And finally, in more Emmy photo news here’s Patton Oswalt (congrats!) providing us with a look at the glamorous life of the rich and famous.
That’s what we saw today, what did you see?
