Grodd Returns in Extended The Flash “Attack on Gorilla City” Teaser

Recommended Videos

After taking a week off for Valentine’s Day, The Flash returns next week to take on the residents of Gorilla City. The last episode saw Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) popping into to reveal that her father Harry Wells (Tom Cavanagh) had been kidnapped. Now it’s up to Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Julian (Tom Felton) to rescue him on Earth-2. As Cisco says in the teaser, welcome to the jungle.

However, we quickly learn that Grodd isn’t the real villain, as it was Gorilla City leader Solovar behind the abduction because he wants to invade Earth-1. And while all of that is going on, Jesse and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) have their hands full with a metahuman who can control gravity. Thankfully, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and H.R. will be on hand to help them from S.T.A.R. Labs.

As someone who isn’t particularly fond of Grodd, I’m most looking forward to Felton’s one-liners and that Indiana Jones outfit. He’s quickly becoming one of the best things about the show, and I hope more people realize what a true gift he is to this world. Also, it looks like we probably won’t be seeing much of Iris next week but I’m sure she’ll be back at the center of things once this story wraps up.

The first of the two-part Gorilla City adventure airs on February 21. Excited?
