To start with some context, Bailey’s mom is her biological mom, and it was her mom’s husband who adopted her when she was six. She grew up believing that man was her biological dad, but she found the adoption papers when she was 13, prompting a whole journey of figuring out who her biological dad was, and getting it wrong once.

Bailey’s first believed biological dad turned out to be unrelated

He was married to his girlfriend from high school, and her mom claimed that he cheated on his now-wife with her, resulting in her pregnancy with Bailey.
