The Taika Waititi, Tessa Thompson, Rita Ora Kiss That Melted the Internet

Don't act like this isn't the life we're all trying to lead post-vaxx.

Over the weekend, images emerged of Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, and Tessa Thompson having the time of their lives and maybe all kissing each other. Was it a ploy to make fun of the invasive paparazzi taking their picture in the first place? Could be, especially because Taika is known to flip them off and mock them for taking his photos. But let’s pretend for a moment that this throuple is canon in our world and dream of the brilliant chaos it would bring to us all.

The truth is: This is honestly the dream life after a year of quarantine, is it not? Who DOESN’T want to be making out with pretty people? For the last year, many of us have been alone and trapped inside without any kind of social interactions or ability to meet people and so we’re coming out of quarantine and into our post-vaxxed life ready to get out there, have fun, and maybe makeout with some people. Taika, Tessa, and Rita are just ahead of us all.

Twitter reacted by all simultaneously combusting while wishing they were also there to just … be included.

Look, can you blame any of us? Doug Benson’s tweet is probably the most accurate because yes, you will be jealous no matter how you identify. There is something for us all to be jealous of. Imagine being that other guy just like … sitting there. Him I’m not jealous of. I don’t want to be that guy.

The moral of the story here is that this is the life we’re all trying to lead in 2021, and Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, and Tessa Thompson are just paving the way. May we all live our best Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, and Tessa Thompson dreams this summer.
