With a girl like J. Lo, how can I be blue?
Bye Bye Birdie Live will air during holiday 2017 starring Jennifer Lopez as Rosie, the role originated by Chita Rivera on Broadway and later performed by Janet Leigh in the 1963 film adaptation.
NBC's finally making some forward progress with their Xena reboot.
what is this I don't even
likes to jerk us around
wants us to get excited about the new season of Community
, NBC chief Bob Greenblatt
has stepped forward and said that the network is "absolutely hopeful" that the show will have a fifth season. "I'd love nothing more than to see it continue," he said. OK, yeah, sure. It would've been nice if you'd shown such faith in the show a wee bit earlier, but I see this statement as nothing more than PR-speak, so whatever.
But it's what he said about season four, premiering on February 7th, that I find a bit more interesting. If by interesting you mean infuriating. And I do.
Once More With Feeling
I'm having a hard time picturing country music superstar Carrie Underwood
as a nun.
Some surprising news from NBC
this weekend: Two weeks after passing on a Wonder Woman show
scripted by David E. Kelly
because the network couldn't afford the character's licensing fee, the National Broadcasting Company has changed it's mind an given the green light to the Amazonian princess.
Apparently two weeks ago, NBC was still going through some internal staff changeups, and didn't have someone who could vouch for a project as big as Wonder Woman. Now that new president Bob Greenblatt
is firmly in charge, the network could firmly commit itself.
In other news, the show might not be about an Amazon. Or a princess.
