Everything about this “sweded” Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is absolutely on point. It’s clear that while Dumb Drum‘s budget might’ve been low, the imagination and cleverness displayed are absolutely top-freakin’-notch. All the tiny little details add up to make one fantastic low-budget trailer, comprised of a ton of “blink-and-you’ll-miss-it” moments.
Chewbacca’s ingenious cardboard fur design. Oh, and the super clever hyperspace effects? Brilliant. You know that scene with Finn and Poe by the X-wing? Make sure you look out for the guy running around in the background carrying a puppy. Any chaotic scene can be made even more chaotic by running around with a puppy in your arms. That’s, like, film school 101.
