Supergirl Makes a Memorable Entrance in First Crossover Clip

The heroes team up for the first time!

The crossover is coming: soon, all four superhero shows on The CW will be joining forces for an epic storyline that will kick off with Supergirl and continue through to conclude on Legends of Tomorrow. Since an epic team-up demands an epic bad guy, our resident DC TV superheroes will be facing off against a threat called the Dominators. If you’ve had a chance to see what they’ve looked like in teasers, just think the aliens from Signs: tall, lanky and totally creepy.

Since we know that Supergirl will not be merging with the other shows in terms of their worlds, this recently posted clip also reveals how the Maid of Might will be joining the others–via a portal presumably created by Cisco’s Vibe abilities alongside Barry Allen doing his thing with the Speed Force as The Flash.

It’s also understandable that the other teams would be a little skeptical of Supergirl’s abilities, especially since she doesn’t look like your garden-variety alien–but Kara manages to silence any skeptics with a brief display of not just one, but two of her many abilities (to tease some info: one of them involves her heat vision). It’s pretty much the Kryptonian version of a mic drop.

There’s so much to get excited about from this crossover–one thing I’m particularly looking forward to is Sara Lance’s little crush on Supergirl.

The “Invasion!” storyline kicks off at the end of Supergirl on November 28th and continues through to Legends of Tomorrow on December 1st. Who’s got predictions, hopes or dream team-ups? Let’s talk about it!
