‘Stay Alert Ladies’: Florida Walmart Shopper Gets Chills When She Sees the Same Men From the Gas Station Staring. One Waits Near the Exit
This woman says she spotted two suspicious men, then she spotted the same men again. And again.

Seeing the same strangers twice in one morning could easily be a coincidence. But when they keep showing up in different places, it becomes harder to dismiss.
For women shopping alone, that can put them in a difficult position. Someone staring may be uncomfortable enough, but repeatedly noticing the same people nearby (like this woman did at Target) can make the situation feel much more concerning.
That is what one Florida shopper says happened during a recent Walmart trip. TikTok creator Whitney (@brokenbutgrafted) first noticed two men watching her at a nearby gas station. She initially brushed it off, but after seeing them several more times, she began to wonder whether the encounters were really a coincidence.
Things started to feel a little off
Whitney places the incident at the Walmart off Cortez in Bradenton, Florida. Before going inside to shop, she stopped at the gas station in the same area and noticed two men sitting in a car off to the side and watching her.
At first, she did not think much of the attention. “If you’re a woman, this happens from time to time, just men gawking,” Whitney explains. “It’s gross, it’s annoying.” She finished pumping gas and drove over to Walmart.
After parking near the garden entrance, Whitney noticed what appeared to be the same car about five spaces away. She still didn’t assume the men had followed her and went inside to shop, moving through the home, kids, electronics, and food sections.
While walking down the cereal and granola aisle later, she recognized one of the men from the car. According to Whitney, he was talking on his phone and did not have a cart or anything in his hands. She found it odd but continued shopping.
About 10 minutes later, Whitney headed to checkout with a full cart and spotted the other man buying only a bottle of water at self-checkout. He then headed toward the main exit around the same time.
That was when Whitney became more cautious. Her “Spidey senses” were going off, so she slowed down, let the man walk ahead, and decided against using the same exit. Instead, she headed back through Walmart toward the garden entrance where she had parked. She claims the man looked back at her as they went different ways, making her wonder if she was reading too much into the situation.
“You could just be overthinking this, girl,” she recalls thinking. “But in today’s world, am I really overthinking this or am I actually seeing what I’m seeing?” Whitney still left through the garden side and checked the parking lot before approaching her car. Although the man had enough time to reach his vehicle, she claims he was still near the main entrance with his phone and water bottle.
The two made eye contact again, and Whitney claims the man began walking toward her. She quickly loaded her purchases and drove away, but did not go straight home. Still concerned, she called her sister and husband, drove around, and later stopped elsewhere to inspect her vehicle.
Whitney checked underneath her car for a possible tracking device but found nothing and eventually went home. She urged other women to stay alert, saying, “Have your Spidey senses on. Check your surroundings at all times, no matter if you’re with somebody or if you are by yourself and document everything.”
Several viewers agreed that the situation was concerning. “So unfortunate that women have to deal with this BS,” one wrote. Another urged, “ladies dont wste your time. call walmart security have them walk u out then call the cops!” A third added, “Cortez Walmart is one scary store.”
The video itself does not establish the men’s intentions or confirm that they were deliberately following Whitney. Her concern was based on repeatedly encountering the same two men, followed by what she witnessed while trying to leave the store.
In a similarly disturbing account of a shopping experience, this woman says she was pursued by a man in a black truck, then, after exiting the store, spotted the same man standing right next to it.
