LA nurse delivers positive STI diagnosis to patient, next-bed patient offers to pay her to help take revenge against cheating partner

If you ever stayed in a semi-private hospital room, you know there’s an unwritten social pact. You pretend that thin polyester curtain is a soundproof brick wall and respect whatever indignity is happening on the other side of the room.
But every once in a while, someone breaks the pact. Next thing you know, the next bed’s clinical update is turned into an open town hall meeting. Los Angeles ICU nurse Addison (@big_daddy_addie) found that out the hard way when a routine bedside STI diagnosis spiraled into an impromptu, paid revenge plot.
Addison explained the incident in a viral clip from his TikTok series “You Can’t Make This S*** Up.” He sat in his car alongside his dog, Leonardo DogCaprio and broke down why he now believes shared rooms need to be permanently retired from modern healthcare.
Breaking the news of an unexpected STI
Addison explained that he entered a shared room trying to be discreet while delivering lab results to a female patient. The patient had reportedly been admitted initially for an unrelated condition and shared the room with another female patient.
Mindful of the thin curtain dividing the room, Addison attempted to deliver her positive STI test results quietly. The patient, however, could not have cared less about hospital privacy. She allegedly waved off any whispery bedside caution and bluntly told Addison, “You can say it loud, whatever you say in the room, I don’t care if the other person hears.”
Taking her at her word, Addison then shared the diagnosis aloud. This reportedly prompted her to deliver a deadpan, legendary response: “Damn. Double homicide.” But before Addison could transition into discussing her treatment plan and prescriptions, the curtain suddenly parted.
Turning the diagnosis into biological warfare
The woman in the adjacent bed had reportedly absorbed every single word through the air. And not just that, she apparently decided that the moment wasn’t a private medical crisis, but a divine business opportunity.
Piping up from across the room, the roommate reportedly announced that she had just discovered that her man was cheating on her. But instead of crying over it, she immediately pitched an entrepreneurial retaliation.
“The patient in the bed next to her piped in and said that she just found out that her man was cheating on her and wanted to know if she could pay her to not be treated and go sleep with her man.”
According to Addison, the woman allegedly offered to pay the newly diagnosed STI patient out of pocket. The catch was she had to delay her STI treatment to sleep with the cheating partner and infect him.
Dumbfounded by the brazen proposition, Addison checked in with his canine co-host, who jokingly diagnosed the scheme as “biological w****fare.” In his caption, Addison clarified that he doesn’t condone this behavior as a nurse. But as a girl’s girl, on the other hand, that might be a genius revenge plot.
