It usually squicks me out when ads like this one imply that two very young children are falling in love with each other (not because little kids don’t have serious crushes or because those feelings aren’t important, they are! I just think our society’s fixation on romantic heterosexual relationships can make it hard for kids of different genders to just be friends if they want to, which is shitty. ANYWAY End rant), but it doesn’t bother me as much in this instance, because frankly almost anything Star Wars will make me cry these days.
Are you equally as helpless as I am, friends? Or does this ad seem too much like the same old, same old for you?
