Star Trek Pixel Poster is a Rare, Adorable Puzzle

A Lesson in Humility

John Martz‘s Trexels poster contains a pixelated replica of two hundred and thirty-five characters from each Star Trek television show, quite a few of the movies, and, judging by that catgirl 14 people in on the top row, Star Trek: The Animated Series.

The question you have to ask yourself is: which is more likely? That you’ll be able to get a hold of one of the mere 300 that he plans to have printed? Or that you’ll be able to win one by correctly identifying as many of the 235 characters as possible?

Says Martz:

The two entrants who have the most correct will win one of the prints. In the event of a tie, winners will be chosen at random. Note that some characters appear more than once, and some characters don’t have names (in which case you have to correctly name the species).

I’m actually surprised that I know as many of the characters as I do on this poster. Godspeed, contestants and buyers.
