‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Is Bringing So Much Merch

Disney and Marvel are casting a widespread web when it comes to merch for the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The recently revealed Spider-Man–themed merchandise set to be released on July 31^st, the same day as the film, includes a wealth of variety and a number of name brands. While most of the items are ones typically found in movie merch lineups, there’s one partnership that stands apart (and it’s super cool).

There’s a little something for everyone in this merch line, whether fans are a fan of Funko or would rather wear their love of Spider-Man. The wide variety also offers up a range of price points, so fans should be able to find items that fit their budgets.

Here’s a closer look at some of the fun and incredibly cool merchandise coming out that ties in with Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

For The Collectors

There’s good news for all the collectors out there as several new Spider-Man: Brand New Day Funkos are dropping. Included among the new figures are Spider-Man in his No Way Home suit, metallic and standard Spider-Man figures, plus an overly large Hulk Pop. Additionally, fans can grab a 10-inch Jumbo Spider-Man Pop, retailing for $39.99.

For sneaker collectors, Adidas has teamed up with Spider-Man for the new DON Issue 8s. The shoes feature the red and blue of the Spider-Man suit, as well as a webbing-like appearance along the sides. Those are priced at $120.

The most interesting partnership in the merch line (and one serious collectors will enjoy) is the one with Citizen. This one is a limited-edition watch featuring exclusive artwork from Adam Kubert, a Marvel illustrator. The artwork shows Spider-Man swinging through the city, with a hand outstretched slinging a web. The word “THWIP” is also etched into the caseback. Only 1,500 of these watches are being released worldwide, and it’s definitely one of the pricier items, retailing at $525. The official release date for this one isn’t until August 1st.

And Spider-Man Merch for All

For those who are looking for Spider-Man accessories, clothing, and toys, there will be plenty to be found.

Fashionistas can enjoy a new collection of Spider-Man-inspired graphic tees from Aéropostale. Those with a love of beaded bracelets will want to grab up some of Little Words Project’s new line, showcasing motivational phrases and superhero-inspired imagery and colors.

Additionally, there are plenty of toys coming out that are tied into the upcoming film. Hasbro alone will introduce a talking Hulk mask, a light-up Spider-Man mask, soft-foam Gamma Smash Fists, a glow-in-the-dark Nerf web blaster, and a Savage Smash Hulk figure. Yes, the line features a lot of Hulk-inspired merch, but there’s likely a reason. Licensed toys very often give away early clues about a film’s action sequences and characters.

The best news of all, though, is that fans only have to wait one more week for the film and all these goodies to drop.
