Special Add-on Tropes vs. Women Episode Focuses on Women as Reward in DLC

Add this to the other reasons store exclusives and DLC are often the worst.

In a supplemental add-on to the recent Tropes vs. Women in Video Games episode on women’s bodies being treated as rewards, Anita Sarkeesian takes a (sometimes NSFW) look at store bonuses and DLC that offer players the chance to sex-up (read: objectification-up) their games.

And in case you’re one of the people who came here just to call out “double standards,” please refer to the difference between sexual objectification and sexual attraction. On the other hand, if you’re one of the people who only reads headlines before trying to argue with us darn “SJWs,” there’s nothing we can do to help you.
