‘Someone at FOX is getting fired’: Fox News just debunked Trump’s claims of declining inflation with solid proof

The chances of Fox News openly criticising Donald Trump and his MAGA-influenced Republican friends are slim, but not entirely impossible, it seems! In a surprising twist, the news channel recently did something quite unexpected by addressing the rising inflation in the American economy, effectively debunking all previous claims made by the President of the United States that there was “no inflation” (it’s documented, you can check it out).
For those who remember, during Donald Trump’s recent appearance on NBC’s 60 Minutes, he claimed that America was experiencing “the perfect inflation” at 2 per cent, while also stating in the same breath that there was “no inflation” in the country. However, his claims, as it turns out, are far from accurate. Interestingly, the ones challenging his statements are Fox News, the very channel that so often echoes Trump’s sentiments that it comes off as a sellout.
Recently, a clip from a news segment aired on Fox News has gone viral on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), where a journalist pointed out that the prices of various goods and services, such as coffee, utilities, electricity, and vehicle repairs, have significantly risen in the current quarter, coinciding with Trump’s aggressive tariff policies during his presidency. The journalist also noted the percentage increases, revealing that coffee prices have surged by 18.9 per cent, utilities by 11.7 per cent, electricity by 5.1 per cent, and vehicle repairs by 11.5 per cent.
While many expressed their astonishment at Fox News covering this issue, one user on X commented:
“Someone at FOX is getting fired..”
Another individual, while pointing out a common trend in the Republican Party and its failure to achieve its intended goals, stated:
“The GOP is cooked. They did unforced error after error, and they tried to distract us with the culture wars and their podcast bros and racist edge lords. It’s not going to work!
Several others shared similar thoughts on the matter and called for accountability and change.
