With fans anxiously waiting for Season 3, Adult Swim has created a series of claymation shorts titled Rick and Morty: The Non-Canonical Adventures that put the science duo in famous scenes of movies like Ex Machina, The Thing, The Fly, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and Halloween. They’re so well done, however, that you wish there were canonical.

In classic Rick and Morty style, there’s an abundance of disturbing images and nothing fares too well for Morty and his family. There’s also something about seeing characters you’re used to watching in one medium differently that’s always a little bit creepy and uncanny. Even though they were meant for the Halloween season, there’s never a bad time to enjoy some horror parodies—especially in claymation form.

My favorite was their take on The Fly, how about you?
