Welcome back to Pull Wisely, featuring ten comic book issues that we plan to pick up tomorrow, February 10th, 2016. The three-person Pull Wisely team, including yours truly and my colleagues Teresa Jusino and Jessica Lachenal, have put our heads together as usual to come up with this list, which predominantly includes woman-fronted stories this week (not that that’s particularly unusual around here). Enjoy!

In the meantime, enjoy the html version below. I guess. If that's your thing.
All-New Wolverine #5 All-New Wolverine #5 w: Tom Taylor a: David Lopez p: Marvel Comics Laura joins forces with another oft-unsung heroine in this issue: Janet Van Dyne, a.k.a. The Wasp! Check out the pair of 'em looking tiny but formidable on the cover. Black Canary #8 Black Canary #8 w: Brenden Fletcher a: Sandy Jarrell p: DC Comics The last issue of Black Canary saw the end of the book’s exciting first arc. Now, the Black Canary team sets off a brand new one and they start big: Dinah’s gone missing, and it’s up to her bandmates to come and find her. Artist Annie Wu is also taking a break from the series for a bit, and Sandy Jarrell—who’s taking over art for a while—has got some pretty big stiletto heeled boots to fill. But he does so really nicely! Constantine: The Hellblazer Vol. 1: Going Down (TP) Constantine: The Hellblazer Vol. 1: Going Down TP w: Ming Doyle a: Riley Rossmo p: DC Comics This is the first trade paperback collection of the new Constantine stories penned by Ming Doyle, with art by Riley Rossmo. Ming Doyle actually began as the illustrator and, later, a co-writer for Constantine ; now she's completed the leap to writing it on her own. For more on that, enjoy this interview with Doyle . Jem and the Holograms Valentine's Day Special 2016 #1 Jem and the Holograms Valentine's Day Special 2016 #1 w: Kelly Thompson a: Corin Howell p: IDW Publishing The sound that's been buried in Synergy's programming and affecting all who hear it has decided to play Cupid! On Valentine's Day, enemies become friends -- with truly outrageous results! Jonesy #1 Jonesy #1 w: Sam Humphries a: Caitlin Rose Boyle p: BOOM! Box/BOOM! Studios We’ve done an interview with its creators Sam Humphries and Caitlin Rose Boyle . But consider this your last reminder that Jonesy #1 hits shelves this week, so you’d better get on it if you want in on this amazing punk rock/Scott Pilgrim -esque adventure. Ms. Marvel #4 Ms. Marvel #4 w: G. Willow Wilson a: Takeshi Miyagawa p: Marvel Comics We've got a double-whammy of Ms. Marvel adventures this week, thanks to this new issue, as well as a new issue of All-New, All-Different Avengers . The latter ends its story arc this week with its fifth issue, and meanwhile, Ms. Marvel starts up a brand new arc. Onyx (TP) Onyx TP w: Chris Ryall a: Gabriel Rodriguez p: IDW Publishing You may have missed this story of a female warrior cyborg who's come to Earth when it was in single issues, but now you can read its first trade! Has Onyx come to save Earth, or to destroy it? Check out this awesome new character and find out! The Legend of Wonder Woman #2 The Legend of Wonder Woman #2 w: Renae De Liz a: Renae De Liz p: DC Comics It's the second issue in the already-beloved coming-of-age story about Diana, written and illustrated by Renae De Liz. We had the honor of interviewing her about this excellent new Wonder Woman series several months back . Weirdworld #3 Weirdworld #3 w: Sam Humphries a: Mike Del Mundo p: Marvel Comics Becca and Goleta need an Emerald Fuel Injector for Goleta's muscle car from The Grand Mechanic. But this is Weirdworld -- so this mechanic errand will likely include lots of magical mayhem before Becca can even think about going on a quest with the Catbeast to get his spare wizard body and help her get home. What?! Exactly. You should be reading this. The title doesn't lie. Welcome Back #5 Welcome Back #5 w: Christopher Sebela a: Claire Roe p: BOOM! Studios Welcome Back is now an ongoing series, and that’s pretty exciting. It’s already got a super interesting storyline about a war between soldiers who reincarnate into different bodies for what is essentially all eternity. It’s been pretty fun to read so far, and there’s definitely a lot to love about this series. [View All on One Page ]
