Olivia Pope and Annalise Keating Could Be in the Same Room, and I Think I’m Gonna Die

Scandal‘s Olivia Pope and How to Get Away With Murder‘s Annalise Keating are two of the most powerful and fascinating women on television right now, played beautifully by Kerry Washington and Viola Davis, respectively. Wouldn’t it be amazing if they could share screen time? Well, this might not be as far-fetched as we thought!

According to Deadline Hollywood, the word is that a crossover between ABC’s Shondaland shows, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder, is currently under way! Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva heard that the episode will air later this season, though “[r]eps for ABC and the series’ producers ABC Studios and Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland would not comment.”

However, it’s hard not to get excited when the show’s leading ladies are playing Instagram Tag with each other from each other’s shooting locations. Washington started it off with this shot of her in the hallway of one of HTGAWM‘s court locations:

Hey Ms @violadavis ❤️ check it out. This spot look familiar?! Where are you?

Davis followed up with this shot of Annalise in the Oval Office:

Hey @KerryWashington, guess where I am?!

You guys. I need to buy a CASE of red wine for this. SEVERAL cases. I can’t decide if Olivia and Annalise would love each other, or absolutely hate each other.

Shondaland fans, what do you think? How would an Olivia Pope/Annalise Keating meeting go down? Would you be into a crossover? Let’s talk about it below!
