Portal 2: Animated

Chelsea GR put together this animated version of the pivotal scene in Portal 2 where the player accidentally resurrects/awakens the murderous GLaDOS. Except this time, both GLaDOS and Wheatley are human …or at least humanoid, imbuing them both with wonderfully expressive body language.

I particularly like the way Wheatley’s eyes flicker out electronically, but don’t blink or you’ll miss it. If you’re looking for a bit more of Chelsea’s humanoid Wheatley in action, she’s got another video of uncolored rough animation done over Stephen Merchant‘s voice acting.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
