Not two days after Michelle MacLaren left Warner Bros’ upcoming Wonder Woman film, the project now has its new director! Monster‘s Patty Jenkins is taking the reins!
This might be surprising, considering she departed Thor: The Dark World over creative differences much the way MacLaren left Wonder Woman. That said, the fact that she was interested in Thor: TDW leads us to believe that the superhero genre genuinely holds her interest, and it’s thrilling that Warner Bros. and Wonder Woman seem to have found the right woman for the job!
