He also added that he did not want to throw their parents under the bus, but what he was saying was the truth and stressed that if they listened to him, they would agree as well.

Speaking to the autoworkers at the General Motors Proving Ground, here’s what Trump said when he emphasized that he was better than the parents of the people in the audience. He said, “I’ve done more for you than your parents, okay? Your parents are good. I’m not going to knock your parents, but I have been better to you than your parents.” He added, “That I can tell you, and they would agree with me. Wherever they may be, they would agree.”

Speaking of Fain, Trump said he didn’t know what happened to him and added that someone had told him he had been fired.

The same source noted that on Tuesday, Trump also held a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House to address the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
