Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them kicks off a whole new era of magic, complete with its own story, heroes, and villains. This new trailer sets up an American wizarding community where some wizards, especially Colin Farrell’s Percival Graves, don’t seem too happy with hiding themselves from the Muggles  (or “No-maj” in America, but come on, no one’s going to use that term outside of the movie).

Evil wizards have always kind of had a thing for torturing Muggles in the Harry Potter universe, but Fantastic Beasts seems to have more of a showdown between the two than ever before. Since this is a prequel, and the wizarding community is still pretty secret by the time Harry Potter himself comes around, we can only imagine there’s going to be some Men in Black-level mind-wiping happening at the end of this story.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is in theaters November 18, 2016.
