We could all use a good laugh right about now and what better way to accomplish that than with an adorable baby laughing at something so inherently simple? Yes, this video of an infant hysterically laughing at crumpled paper won’t save the world, but I hope it brings some joy in a time where there seems to be so little of it.  According to the video’s description, “Baby Dexter” was about 5 months old when this video was taken.

On a serious note, I really do hope you take care of yourselves and each other. If you need to step away from the internet, do it. If you feel like escaping into your favorite TV show or movie, don’t feel guilty about it. We all have different ways of coping and the important thing is that you figure out which one works best for you.

For those who are genuinely concerned for their safety, this post details what steps you can take to protect yourself if you’re trans and living in America. This one is also helpful for those in need of legal assistance. If you’re looking to protect your internet privacy, you might want to head here. And for those who wish to take a stand against Islamophobic harassment (and other types of harassment), this post can help point you in the right direction.

Don’t forget to wear your safety pin to show solidarity with those who are scared and feel unsafe in the country. Take care, everyone!
