Monday Cute: Toddler Blames Batman for Lipstick-Mirror Vandalism

Recommended Videos

When accused of drawing on a mirror with his mother’s lipstick, 2 year-old Noel from Wester Craigs did what any of us would do in a situation that we don’t want to take responsibility for: blame Batman. What Gotham’s brooding vigilante was doing in Scotland is unclear. What were his motivations for such a heinous act of vandalism? What did he draw on the mirror, and what is he trying to tell us? Theatricality and deception are powerful agents, so we’ll no doubt see this plot unravel in future films.

Fortunately, Noel’s mother Laura Hopkins caught it on camera, no doubt to poke fun at him for it when he’s older! We’re a bit slow on covering this video, since Noel’s Batman-blaming went viral a while back, even earning him some media appearances, a Batman figure, and a visit from Batman himself (or a Scottish version of him), but it’s still an adorable delight.
