Longtime Trump supporter Laura Loomer says she is ‘pissed’ by his outreach to ‘anti-American’ Zohran Mamdani
She appears to be experiencing a Menty B over this friendship
Far-right commentator Laura Loomer is losing her composure over President Donald Trump’s meeting with Zohran Mamdani. On Monday, on X, Loomer wrote, “I’m pissed off. We work so hard to combat the radical left and the anti-American Islamic jihadists who work to destroy our country every day. And for what? So they can be rewarded? There is never going to be any accountability. I realized that today. We will never see it.”
This is not the first time Loomer has questioned Trump and Mamdani’s alleged “friendship.” Back in November 2025, after the two met at the White House and Trump appeared cordial with Mamdani, Loomer went on a tirade on social media. Raising questions about Mamdani’s policies, including his push to tax the rich, Loomer wrote, “…I think we can all agree its [sic] a bad look to let a foreign born jihadist who said he wants to implement ANTI WHITE policies like taxing white people more money to stand behind the desk in the Oval Office.”
Highlighting how Trump and Mamdani were expected to work together for New York’s welfare, Loomer, while also spreading misinformation about Mamdani, wrote, “I took Trump at his word when he said he wasn’t giving Mamdani funding. Now he said he’s working with him one day after Mamdani’s supporters stormed a synagogue in NYC and called for Jews to be Murdered..”
She also said what she hopes to see from Trump regarding Mamdani. “Hopefully, we see more condemnation of Mamdani and his communist, anti-White, and jihadist views from President Trump,” she wrote.
Trump and Mamdani met at Gracie Mansion ahead of the UN General Assembly
The United Nations General Assembly convened on Tuesday in New York, and ahead of the event, Trump met with Mamdani at Gracie Mansion. While the particulars of their meeting have not been revealed, they appeared to be on good terms, as suggested by their demeanor afterward as they fielded questions from the press.
In fact, Trump couldn’t stop complimenting Mamdani, who kept a poker face and stood beside him, a rare sight, since he is almost always smiling when interacting with people. In one of the most striking moments from their joint press conference, Trump praised Mamdani’s efforts as mayor and said he wanted him to flourish in the role.
“I certainly hope he will be a great mayor,” Trump told the journalists gathered before him. He added, “I want what’s good for New York. I want what’s good for the country.” He also said, “I want him to be a great mayor, and he’s certainly got potential, got great potential.”
