LA Woman Contacts a Tattoo Artist for a Leg Sleeve, but Then He Gives Her ‘creepy’ Vibes, Making Her Change Her Mind: ‘You’re Intuition Is Strong!!!’
The audacity!

The road to equality and women’s safety is a long one, and @vampire.bunnii’s TikTok video from a few months ago is clear proof. On February 13 of this year, Autumn posted a video on her TikTok account where she talked about crossing paths with a creepy tattoo artist while wanting to get her leg sleeve tattoo done. From the start of their interaction, this man acted overly friendly, but as time went on, his behavior became extremely creepy, leading Autumn to decide not to get the tattoo at all because of how uncomfortable she felt.
Autumn’s experience is definitely not unique. I’ve heard from many friends with tattoos who got them done by male artists and received unwanted romantic and sexual advances. Personally, when I went to get my ear pierced in a different state, I felt the person doing it, as well as the receptionist, were being overly friendly. Like Autumn, I initially thought they were just being nice, but later, when the piercer asked for my address, I realized they weren’t just being kind. Thank goodness I gave a wrong one.
TikTok user @vampire.bunnii narrates story of a creepy tattoo artist
As mentioned earlier, on February 13, 2026, @vampire.bunnii uploaded a TikTok video where she talked about encountering a tattoo artist who behaved very creepily. When Autumn first interacted with the tattoo artist and expressed interest in getting a leg sleeve with a filigree design, he was very friendly and welcoming. That’s why, when she realized her location was a bit far from his, she agreed to a video call to discuss the next steps.
The first scheduled call between Autumn and the tattoo artist did not happen because he missed it. Later, replying to Autumn at midnight about the missed appointment, he said he had a long tattoo session and asked if she was free for a call then. Autumn said she found it weird that he wanted to have a video call at midnight. She recalled telling him she was getting ready for bed, which led him to say that he was also a night owl like her, something she found pretty strange.
After this incident, the tattoo artist did several other things that made Autumn uncomfortable, like liking her Instagram stories, including her thirst traps, and commenting on her story posts in an overly friendly manner, among other actions. Because of this, Autumn kept ghosting him when he tried to arrange a video call to plan her leg sleeve tattoo despite being interested in getting the tattoo.
Then, as Autumn revealed, during all this, she noticed one day on Hinge that the tattoo artist had liked her profile and commented, asking her when she was booking the tattoo appointment, which she found overtly weird. After this incident, she was the one who reached out to the tattoo artist and told him that she was busy with work and that she would contact him if she was interested, in an effort to end the conversation.
Later, as @vampire.bunnii mentioned in her video, several months passed, and out of nowhere, the tattoo artist messaged her again with a strange message that read, “Hey Autumn, lol real question…were you trying to book a tattoo or were you just trying to get my attention?” Autumn said this made the tattoo artist seem like a “creepy weirdo.” She concluded her video by saying that women often get tattoos in vulnerable places and end up trusting people like this tattoo artist, which is scary. She also emphasized that women should trust their instincts if they feel something is off, as in most cases, they are right.
People on TikTok have reacted strongly to @vampire.bunnii’s video
Nearly everyone in the comments on @vampire.bunnii’s video pointed out how ridiculous her situation with her tattoo artist is and how creepy he was. User @maeveelise wrote, “You’re intuition is strong!!!” User @disfokenguy23 commented, “yeah that’s weird the texting everyday after not hearing you is crazy.”
Some people shared their own experiences with tattoo artists. User @rkrkrntncv wrote, “My first tattoo was done by a guy who apparently spent most of the appointment checking me out (he told me afterwards) and he missed details of my design that meant a lot to me so extra frustrating to learn he wasn’t giving his work his full attention.” User @grimeoure commented, “when i was 19 a tattoo artist asked me on a date when i got home. he was in his 40’s and his son was around my age.”
How much should a tattoo typically cost in the US?
The price you pay for a tattoo depends on multiple factors. These include the size of the tattoo, the placement, the artist’s level of skill, and the type of tattoo (for instance, you are more likely to be charged higher for a complex tattoo than a simple one).
According to Art Collector Tattoo Studio, the hourly rates for tattoos based on the parameters below can roughly fall within this price range. However, the source also notes that most small and medium tattoos are priced by the piece.
Artist Experience
- Junior Artist (1-3 years): $50-$130 per hour
- Experienced Artist (5+ years): $150-$300 per hour
- Pro or Famous Artist: $300-$500 per hour
Tattoo Size and Cost
- Tiny Tattoos (Under 2 inches): $100–$200
- Medium Tattoos (3-6 inches): $350–$850
- Large Tattoos (7-9 inches): $1000–$1900
- XXL / Sleeve Tattoos: $3,500–$12,000+
Other Factors
- Design Complexity: More detailed tattoos typically cost more. A simple outline is considerably cheaper than a full-color, realistic tattoo of identical size.
- Location on Body: Certain areas, such as ribs, neck, hands, fingers, and face, are more challenging to tattoo, resulting in increased time and cost.
