After trying repeatedly to break up with her boyfriend, @eatingwithahbaddie, aka Scarlett Love, finally decided to end things after he cheated on her. One day, Scarlett and her boyfriend got into a huge fight after they both got drunk. He then left the house, and Scarlett decided to break up with him for good. She called her family, who lived four hours away in Wisconsin, to pick her up. But as they arrived, Scarlett slowly lost her resolve to leave and instead started texting him, noting her anxious attachment style. By the end, she was completely unwilling to go, and when her family tried to force her, she left through a side door.

TikTok user @eatingwithahbaddie faced an unexpected situation

In her TikTok video, @eatingwithahbaddie explains that after she left home, she looked for her boyfriend. She knew where he would be and found him exactly there: at his best friend’s house. Once there, Scarlett exclaims that her boyfriend was shocked to see her. She also says she started throwing hands at him, which she discourages because it’s wrong, but she clarifies that she was an alcoholic then, so her judgment was obviously compromised.

Scarlett then mentions that while she was hitting her boyfriend, his friends came and threw her out, locking the door behind her. Sitting outside and crying, a neighbor came out and asked if she was okay. When she said no, the neighbor invited her inside, so she went because she thought the neighbor was kind. However, she notes that the moment she stepped in, she began feeling “uneasy” and that her home was “giving, like, quarter house.” Inside, she saw the woman’s children, who looked “lowkey malnourished.” The woman then asked Scarlette if she wanted to smoke, and she agreed, thinking it would help her calm down because she was very drunk. But things didn’t go as planned. After the first hit, she started “tweaking”, leading her to believe the joint was “laced.” Feeling uncomfortable, Scarlette ran out of the house, parked in a nearby lot, and cried. Later, she says she mended things with her boyfriend, but then realized almost a week later that it wasn’t working between them.

Loyalty is a rarity these days

Cheating among partners and spouses is increasingly common. An article by South Denver Therapy, published on January 27, 2026, reports that 44% of unmarried couples cheat, as do 18-25% of married couples.

The article further notes that men are generally more inclined to cheat than women, though this gap is narrowing over time. Key findings suggest: 20% of married men admit to infidelity, compared to 13% of women. Over the past two decades, women’s infidelity has increased by 40%. For adults aged 18-29, women are slightly more likely to cheat (11% vs. 10%). Additionally, 67% of men who cheat do so multiple times, while the figure for women is 53%.
